I have been having singing lessons with Philippa for more than 18 months now. If you are looking for your singing voice with your own expression and freedom within it, she is a wonderful thoughtful and caring teacher who will help you find your voice in the way that you need it. No need to hesitate, lessons will be at the pace you need them.

I knew I had a bit of a voice but never had the courage to find someone that could help me find that voice. I sang at school but couldn’t read music and only sang in the car or in the shower, like a lot of people. Then I met Phillippa……
I have found that voice with the encouragement of Phillippa and her wonderful positivity and love for everything musical. I so look forward to each lesson and always leave feeling I’ve achieved something and positivity lifted.
I sing for the pleasure and find myself singing to everything and I’ve even sang in front of friends which I would have never attempted before. My aim is to sing in a concert or even try karaoke!!
Whether you are singing for the sheer pleasure or for your career, Phillippa makes each lesson a pleasure.

I have always wanted to sing, but for 65 years believed the message that I picked up as a child, that I couldn't sing. A message that was reinforced by a few lessons with a singing teacher some years ago. Philippa told me of course I could sing, and she was right. Thanks to her excellent teaching I am now singing things that I wouldn't have believed possible. One of her many talents is an ability to read me as a person and understand what works for me both in terms of how to teach me and what music to choose. She is also a lot of fun as a teacher. I can't recommend her highly enough.

A truly exceptional teacher. Phillipa is brilliant at knowing exactly when to push and when to hold back and is incredibly perceptive. It means she gets the absolute best of me because she understands how I tick. I’ve achieved progress I just didn’t think possible and I recommend her 100%.
