I recently visited the Phoenix Cinema & Art Centre to see an exhibition about Sikhism and its amazing history. The exhibition was very good, providing insightful and engaging content. The staff were also commendable, offering friendly and helpful service throughout my visit.

The place has had a makeover, and it shows. The updated decor adds a fresh and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, there's a decent sized cafe that serves nice food and drinks, making it a great spot to relax before or after an exhibition. Overall, the Phoenix Cinema & Art Centre is a wonderful place to experience both art and history, complemented by a pleasant café experience.

I celebrated my birthday with my family in the Nest with a very tasty bottomless brunch. I'll add photos. The service was brilliant and Mukesh was incredibly efficient and polite. The drinks came to us swiftly and when we weren't sure which drinks to have, he became very creative and delivered a delicious beverage. The food looked great and tasted better.

Overall cinema was a 5 star experience, with cafe being a 4. Coffee was great. Menu had a good range of options that tasted reasonable, it just got very busy at the time we went.

One of my favourite places in the city. Amazing food and decent accommodation for our writing group. All the drinks are well kept. Gets a bit overwhelmed on very busy nights but not sure what they can do about that - victims of their own success!

This is now a mainstay of Leicester’s Cultural Quarter, showing quirky films old and new and appealing to all tastes. There is also a well-run cafe/restaurant in the foyer. It deserves to be more often visited by Leicester folk. Check out their website for upcoming events, special seasons and even film courses. Currently the exterior of the building is being renovated but it’s not noisy. Independent cinemas across the UK need our support. Use it or lose it!

Went to see One Love and I was amazed at how the place now looks since the expansion. It’s very fresh and modern. Cinema seating was comfortable. Their was a DJ in the cafe bar afterwards which was a nice finishing touch to the night. Definitely returning soon when their rooftop bar opens 8 March.
