We cannot express enough how happy we are to have found this wonderful 'Play Mandarin' school. Our little girl's development from practically the first day has been amazing, in the short time we have been there she already knows practically all the vocabulary taught in the classes, she sings all the songs, participates actively, etc. Furthermore, the dynamics of the classes are great, all the activities are very elaborate, with practically only recyclable materials they are able to create endless activities, the communication about all events and activities is always up to date and the flexibility to book classes is very convenient, but best of all It is how much she enjoys each of the classes, her happiness is what has prevailed, without having any background or close connection to the language, she enjoys it as if it were her own.  It is also worth mentioning the bond that she has created with one of the teachers 'Miss Lulú' whom we adore with our hearts for the skill she has when teaching, her charisma and professionalism, it is honestly incredible!  Not only do we recommend this fabulous school to all parents who are interested in giving their children the knowledge of this wonderful language, but we also appreciate its existence for everything they contribute with their teachings.

My 6 year old son loves the weekend class, holiday camp and other activities. All teachers are very supportive and kind to kids. It is indeed learning through play and fun. My son can sing a few mandarin songs and recognise characters now. Teacher Eve is always very responsive and patient with my questions. Very pleased to see the school now offer a greater variety of classes!

My 5yrs old daughter really enjoyed this Chinese class. I am a native Chinese speaker and wanted to make sure my little one speak good mandarin even when we are living in UK. I have been searching for a good chinese class for a while as I don’t want to her to go to the traditional chinese School, where they would teach in a very formal way. Lots of my friend’s kids lost their interests to the chinese school and also learning Chinese eventually. Miss Eve has adopted a completely different approach that let Kids play and learn Chinese at same time. The whole class is very entertaining with lots of games, dance and songs. My little one is having great time in every class she has been and always proud to show me the number of stickers she got. The most important things: she is now very keen to speak mandarin by herself and also interested in the Chinese culture! I believe at this young age to keep them interest in the language itself and the culture is more important than recognising many letters or remember some traditional Chinese poems! The Play mandarin’s holiday camp is also at a very high quality just like their normal classes! My little one is so happy and wanted to go everyday! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn Chinese:)

My son attended several Chinese classes before but he only likes Play Mandarin! He actually looks forward to meet with the teachers and other children every week. He also loves learning Chinese characters with games in the class. The teachers are also very passionate and very patient with kids.

My daughter loved the half term camp and she looked forward to it every day. She enjoyed all the activities and started saying some Mandarin words that she learnt when she came home. Every day is a new adventure at Play Mandarin.
The teachers are very thoughtful and we love the part that they introduced the dragon boat festival and childhood games to the children. It is wonderful to be able to share our heritage with children in a fun way. She felt very accomplished showing me the rice dumpling she made with her teachers. Thank you so much to all the teachers for all their efforts!! 你们真棒!
We are looking forward to more Play Mandarin classes. It made me wish that Chinese class was this fun when I grew up.

My son is 3 yr old and he understands when I speak mandarin to him, but he doesn’t speak much in mandarin. But after the one-day camp he attended on Friday, he started to make up sentences in mandarin- it’s super cute and he is trying. That makes me feel really hopeful and now want to enrol the class for him. I think learning through play for this age really works and thank you all teachers for this!

My 3.5 year old son joined their summer (端午节)camp last week, and had so much fun. I was really worried on the first day for leaving him in a new environment for the whole day, but the teachers are superb. He came out with big smiles and crafts to show off, can't stop talking about the games, cotton candy making ... And most important of all, I've noticed that he speaks Chinese more frequently than before.

My son is very shy (he often remains quiet the whole day in nurseries), but he really enjoys the time spent there. At first we were worried that he won't respond to any instructions and therefore won't get any benefit of a chinese speaking environment. But after observing the first couple of sessions he's clearly very interested in the interactive, game-based, and hands-on classes. The teachers are also very well-equipped to motivate kids of different levels and personalities to engage. A big thumb up!
