Rachel is an amazing tutor!
Her love for English shines through her lessons and is therefore communicative.
To guide my daughter who is preparing for her IGCSE English exams, she has provided efficient, fail-proof methodologies to help her overcome her "writer's block" in timed conditions. Rachel then enabled my daughter to practise answering specific questions using the chat box, in conditions similar to exams, as Rachel is present, akin to an invigilator, enforcing time-constraints.
Rachel's patience is also paramount in promoting the engagement of my daughter, who is thus not afraid to participate and ask any question.
We are therefore very happy to have found Rachel. She knows how to bring the best out of her students so that they can form their own points and opinions - which they can effectively use to analyse the texts or write essays.
We recommend Rachel wholeheartedly.

Rachel has been tutoring my daughter in Classics and English A level for a year now - her subject knowledge is excellent but more than that she has inspired dedication and engagement from my daughter. The connection she has made has both given confidence and sparked a deeper interest in the subjects. As parents we feel that the exam period has been a lot more relaxed and less stressful with our daughter in a good place and with a positive mindset and we put a lot of this down to Rachel. Rachel is an amazing tutor and lovely person, i looked forward to her lessons every week and she really helped me feel confident with English Literature A-level. My A-level results are pending however my mock results and feedback significantly improved, Rachel always took the time to help me with all aspects of education and I couldn’t recommend her more!
