Enrolling my child at Rossall School has been an absolute blessing, exceeding every expectation. Rossall stands out for its exceptional commitment to understanding and meeting the unique needs of every child, it’s an environment where each young learner thrives no matter what their strengths are.

Mr. Turner is professional but also has a genuine care for parents and all students. The open lines of communication that I’ve experienced further enhance my feelings. They have gone above and beyond for my son, making sure they understand him and his needs. They have given extra support when and where needed. As a parent, I couldn’t ask for more.

We have been part of the Rossall School community for over 5 years, spanning from nursery to Junior school, and I cannot speak highly enough of our experience. I love this School! Had the best time of my life here as a boarding student. Has been 22 years and I am planning to visit the school again this year. I will let you all know if they do not welcome me with fireworks and a huge welcome back party.

I’ve just come across around 30 of your pupils at Verona airport Italy, and all I can say is what an embarrassment some of them were to your school, whilst going through passport control 2 boys thought it was a good idea to start pointing and laughing at my daughter who has severe disability’s. I told them to stop and said my daughter is disabled and next minute a teacher (tall with glasses) asks me what the problem was and so I told him, he very rudely said no they weren’t, to which my response was how could you know, they had there backs to you. He then shouted well iam not arguing with you. No apology. Nothing. Another adult in my party witnessed what the boys did. With teachers like that it’s no wonder them boys behave in that way. They need educating. I also overheard other passengers talking about your pupils poor behaviour. Am shocked to learn your a private school. Discusting behaviour.

Well done Claire (previous post) for challenging the poor behaviour of Rossall junior school children toward your disabled daughter. It must have been very distressing for you, particularly as their teacher (tall with glasses) appeared to exonerate their behaviour and handled the situation badly. He's obviously not SENCO. You and your child should have been shown respect for speaking up and addressing the situation, even as he claims, he did not see it occur. This was an opportunity for the teacher to set an example and educate young people about disability, tolerance and compassion; not resort to defensive measures. I would urge you to reach out to the chief school governor to put forward your version of events. That way you can be sure that your review reaches the appropriate level of authority for action and not just the tall member of staff with glasses. I hope you get your apology.

The Best school I have ever been to!!!!
Really engaged teachers, who are always willing to help you. You get brilliantly prepared for your exams, and if you should some how not achieve great results, it is most certainly not due to the teaching! I have never experienced teachers that teach with such passion for there subjects! There are wide varieties of sports and co-curricular activities offered, and there are lots of ways for students to develop skills and personality outside of lessons. The school has some of the most unique facilities of any school in the country, such as the astronomy center, BTW: Dr. Lister is amazing, and so is every other teacher of the school!!!
All-in-all, really good school!

Roughly about six months ago I was hobbling past rossall school, due to my illness i fell over an severely sliced my knee cap then out of knowhere I little middle age lovely lady with glasses I think called Susan pulled up beside me in a black car she wrapped my leg up with a bandage and then offered me a lift so she drove me home in a professional safe manner if it wasn’t for this lady at rossall school I would of been abit stuck now cause of this lady’s act of kindness every time a drive past hog warts it brings a little smile to my face I just won’t to say a big shout out to this lady who help me thank you very much
