Started SAE London back in 2014 ended in 2016, I would say my class was the last best Animation Class, cause we were the last class to get free laptops, when joining SAE.
My whole class agreed that we learned a lot more from YouTube then from some teacher's (mix bag).
Few of the student's did not appear in lectures & was still ahead of the whole class, even out right completing project's long before the deadline, this would make some teacher's salty by tear it down.

Conflicting and confusing information from the reception from the very beginning, confusing information on the website advertising Electronic Music Production short courses redirecting candidates to Degree Courses. After many emails and phone calls to arrange my enrolling in the course and after attending the open day hoping to get some information about the course( all the tutors did not have any info at all on the course) only one person gave me the email address of the tutor leading the course, which I emailed without receiving any reply. One month before the start of the course I received a very annoying email saying : the course is not going ahead, please fill the refund form, not a single word on the reason for the cancellation. After this I had to literally chase my money with several emails, getting replies like: there is a process for refund etc.Very disappointed at the lack of or organisation and professionalism: I was looking forward this course and worked around my working schedule to be able to attending, and I was positively impressed by Matthew Chapman introduction of the course and I was eager to find a way to take time off work to enrol in his course, but now after all this , I changed my mind and will look at other providers.

Review for VFX : Today I finished my first year in VFX at SAE. What can I say, it was a great experience, and I can’t wait to start and finish the second year. The VFX department is solid, and I think the Game Art department is too, because the teachers are the same. The teachers are Eduardo, Amil, Amar—three genuinely good and knowledgeable people. I see in the comments that there are many positive comments for VFX and Game Arts and many negative ones for other departments. A university should obviously be evaluated based on the course you want to take and not on the general ranking. So, rest assured, if you’re aspiring VFX artists or game artists, at SAE you’re in good hands. And obviously guys expect a lot of work outside of class, don't think that teachers do the work for you, you have to study, follow the lessons, otherwise you don't understand anything! You are at university not in primary school.

I have been studying at this institute for a year, and they have never spent £40 to replace the turntable needles. After paying £10,000 a year in tuition fees, this is not fair. What's the point of having facilities and equipment that can't be used? I have never been able to use the DJ booth, even though I'm paying for it.

Additionally, there's a lot of confusion in the management and scheduling. The calendar is often inaccurate, and timetables are frequently changed without considering student well-being and life commitments. They can definitely do better.

SAE Institute in London offers an excellent VFX course with expert instructors and great resources. However, success requires personal commitment. I've seen many students complain, but it's essential to dedicate oneself, actively participate, and practice. I highly recommend this institute to those who are truly motivated to excel in VFX.

I completed the Game Art course at SAE Institute. The program was excellent, thanks to our outstanding professors, Eduardo and Amil, who are true professionals. Their expertise was invaluable.

Delighted with the new signal ethics and color design at the front of the house. Being in my second trimester of Audio Engineering feels just great, especially with access to such incredible studies and equipment. Sure, it's not always smooth, but the learning experience is real and gratifying. Also, I faced some issues with my PPL/PRS account and Ade from the Music Business course, promptly provided support. It's reassuring to know there's always someone ready to help when needed.

Not truly concerned about the welfare of students, just interested in your money. We return to school after a month-long break, but many of the facilities remain inaccessible while they finish painting the walls. Nevertheless, we are still paying for these services. There is a great deal of chaos in everything, and from what you can see so far, the management is not doing their best to serve the interests of the students.
