I was very nervous as I had never sat in front of a machine before, but didn’t need to be as from the first instance Amanda was welcoming & reassuring. She has a patient & encouraging teaching approach, with a wealth of knowledge from years of experience combined with a natural enjoyment & passion for sewing. I throughly enjoyed the day & can’t wait to practice at home & look at the next course I can do with her!
I’ve also never been so proud & am still in shock that I actually made a beautiful cushion!
I would highly recommend the day to anyone!

What a little gem - everything you need under one roof for your sewing project. Went armed with the material I wanted to turn into a Jacket and also material I have had from a holiday in China and never had the confidence to cut into to. Met Alison and Steff who helped me choose all the tailoring notions - interfacing, canvas, lining, shoulder pads, I need to do a good job. oh! and a wonderful new style thimble.
Found it very hard not to buy more fabric the choice and quality is exceptional.
Cannot recommend this shop highly enough if you are looking for quality and service.

Thoroughly recommend taking a sewing class here! Alison is a wonderful tutor and is able to tailor her advice to match the skill of each individual in the class. Great location, equipment and facilities. I learnt a great deal and very much enjoyed the course. Thank you Alison!
