I chose Select English last November for a one month course. I really felt at home, the team is amazing! Everyone makes you feel special and protected from your fears when you are a foreigner and have a basic level of English.
The teachers are great, everyone has a different style and you can enjoy it, you will learn one way or another because the classes are very interesting (they are not just language classes).
The school is tidy and clean, the classrooms are comfortable. If you want, you can have coffee and tea every day, it is at your disposal. You have a small fridge for storing your food and a microwave, plate, cup, etc.
You are in the city centre close to everything and you can enjoy Cambridge at the same time.

There were many social activities such as bowling, punting, and a memorable trip to London, as well as enjoyable evenings at pub and quiz nights or mini golf - boredom literally did not exist there! From listening exercises to expressive diary writing, interactive speaking sessions, and vocabulary expansion - all areas were covered and paid attention to. I must give a special mention to the IELTS classes, which I found to be particularly valuable in my language journey. Thanks to Select English's efficient handling of the process, I've got the best accommodation I could possibly have! They take the time to find the perfect match for your needs, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming living arrangement. Moreover, they are more than happy to resolve any issues that you may encounter during your stay and always encouraging to leave feedback 🙂

Reflecting on my time there, although it was only two weeks, I can proudly say that this experience was life-changing. I'm immensely grateful for this incredible journey of learning and growth, and I will always gladly recommend it to everyone. We are from Ukraine, from Donetsk…At the end of July my 14-year-old daughter Sofiia got a great opportunity to take part in the summer English Course Culford Teens organised by Select English . Now she’s back home full of impressions about her holidays in UK.
During her stay in England my daughter has visited London, Cambridge and Norwich. She met a lot of friends from all over the world. Every day Sofiia had English lessons, which have helped her a lot to improve her English and to be able to communicate with others and more importantly to find a friendship!
The course offers not only English tuition, but also a very interesting activity programme with the great sports facilities!!!
