We love sing & sign with Lynsey! My 17mo son is very active & getting him to join in with classes has been impossible. However, he absolutely loves sing & sign especially Jessie Cat! He has only a few words but within one term of Lynsey’s class he is independently signing 10 signs (plus a few of his own!)
For me the class has been great to refresh my Makaton knowledge & to be in a group of same people each week who have gotten used to my very active child!

We couldn’t recommend Lynsey at Sing And Sign any higher. The classes are interactive and so uplifting for the little ones and the adults we also met some lovely fellow parents. Lynsey is full of encouragement regardless of the child’s age and ability. We came away with my daughter using signing everyday and we really think it was the push she needed to progress with speech. Our aim is to join Lynsey for another term.

We really enjoy Lynsey’s classes, I’ve been with both my children. It’s been lovely and helpful having them learn to sign things before they could communicate properly (milk, hungry, pain etc). We look forward to going every week.

I recommend Lynsey’s sing and sign class to every new mum. My daughter loves the class. I took her from 6 weeks old just to have somewhere to go every week where I felt like I was learning too. After only doing a couple of signs for ages she suddenly started signing everything we’d been singing about at 14 months. She can communicate so well now and I love it as we can have little conversations before she can talk. She also has a lot of chats on the bus with people that know BSL…surprisingly quite a lot of people.

Can't recommend enough for your baby!

Lynsey is an absolutely brilliant teacher. Her mannerisms and knowledge really show in her classes and more importantly my baby actually learned to sign! I knew I was sold when in my first class there was a baby signing for 'more' and he was only a few months older than my own. What I found really interesting is that after a few months of learning and not showing anything, my baby started signing multiple signs, showing she had been sitting there learning through the singing the whole time.

I loved the community that Lynsey created for us parents with tea and treats at the end of each class. More importantly I loved that I could catch up on any class rough the online platform.

My daughter is now babbling with a few words but I love that she continues to sign and confirm when I ask her something.

Lynsey has had a big impact in my first year of being a mum and I will never forget it x

I cannot recommend Sing and Sign or Lynsey (our teacher) highly enough. By far these are the best classes I have been to with my daughter. Lynsey is brilliant! The classes are lots of fun and have really helped my daughter to communicate from an early stage. It’s incredible to see your baby signing and to be able to communicate more easily with them. We can’t wait to start Stage 2!

Lynsey is a really fantastic teacher; she’s full of energy, smiles and funny anecdotes to help you remember the signs. Vinnie started singing after just a few classes and we’re signed up to Stage 2 - I know from my eldest son how invaluable baby signing is. We really enjoy the classes with Lynsey and look forward to the new term! X
