It was absolutly great. I learned so much in Skool. Tobey, Sam, Tom and Tim are really great Teachers. I enjoyed every day and got more selfconfidence in speaking english. All at Skool are very nice people und the afternoons were awsome. I chose hiking and it was so wonderful. The landscape ist amazing. My Host Laura is such a nice person and cared for me. I loved staying at her home.

A wonderful little school to improve your English, learn how to communicate better, and, at least for me, to distinguish nuances in spoken English. Toby and Tom are great teachers and amazing people. The lessons were tailored to my needs, and they really changed the way I speak. Thank you so much!
I had lessons in the mornings and walks in the afternoons. Each hike was accompanied by a teacher and was truly enjoyable. The landscape is breathtaking.
I had booked a homestay and was very fortunate with my host family, located in the heart of the nice village of St. Agnes. Their open-mindness, kind attitude, warm hospitality, engaging conversations, and delicious food was perfect.
I would have loved to stay longer and will probably return.
The 'skool' school is a strong recommendation!

I have just spent five wonderful weeks at Skool with Toby and Leon. The lessons were perfect for me - not too rigid, always varied, with great ideas for review, and I could ask as many questions as I wanted, and they were all answered! And what was really important, the class sizes were always small, sometimes two, sometimes three, but never more than six students. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Toby, Leon, and Laura are all fantastic teachers in their own ways.
The afternoon programs were impressive and diverse, simply absolutely amazing. I can highly recommend Skool!

A perfect opportunity to improve your English. Toby, Leon and Laura organise varied lessons in the morning. In the afternoon, you can go hiking or do water sports, depending on your interests. And there are always joint excursions to places of interest in this beautiful holiday region.

Love Skool! An amazing school in a stunning place, surrounded by Cornish hills and the Atlantic.

Skool makes you use the language and improve. The groups are small, giving you space to discuss and enjoy speaking. The teachers are fantastic, always encouraging. Leon's method of teaching is very interactive and mindful, which I like. A great place to learn with a really good atmosphere. It makes you leave the course happy and keen to be back asap.

I spent one week in St. Agnes, which is an amazing beautiful place surrounded by the beauty of Cornwall. I stood with two very nice women with great hospitality and felt always welcome.
In school the two teacher Toby and Leon took care of us. Not only with interesting, personalized lessons, but also with great excursions. Toby was always available for any kind of needs and questions.

June / July 2022 – we booked the unexpected …
We expected tough learning sessions and we received an intensive coaching: Skool is different, St. Agnes too. And in its combination it is perfect. Skool is a consequent private focused institution. St. Agnes is a place calming you down and focusing you on the basics. We took with us a fruitful and long lasting experience.

So what is the secret about Toby and his Skool? Toby gets in what you need and serves you individualized sessions. He takes away the fear just to talk and gives you confidence in your standing. His classes vary from two to maximum 6 students to secure his quality ambition. He spends a lot of time also beside the regular units together with you to get to know you better and offers you a professional insight of Cornwall´s sphere. Take the chance and accept his afternoon options. It is heavily recommended: Learning in the morning and practicing in the afternoon. The range of Skool´s offer/ program is well balanced and should suit a lot of interests.
And we would like to make a second recommendation: Go for two weeks. It is worth the time.
