Basically I was ill for two weeks this year . I couldn't go to college because of that . I had hiper respiratory track infection ( cough, fever ). I contacted the receptionist I gave all the information. I told them to contact my teacher. To let her know I am really sick and I can't go to college. I have got self certification and sick note for those weeks.I couldn't contact ( email ) the teacher because I was not in her Microsoft team class just on the register. Yesterday I went back with sick note. As soon I entered the teacher Sameera came to me and told me , She took me out of the register because I didn't contact her. I explained her . She told me to go to the reception to talk to the staff . I went there I met the manager. I explained him . He said I will be taking out of the course . He even wants to hear me . I went to collect my bag from class to go home. The manager was screaming to be to go out of the college like I am criminal or I will do something to the people . I never felt so humiliated. I took my bag and when I was on my way to go out to the college. I spoke to the staff and the staff member the lady tried to talk to the manager but he refused. Teacher Sameera I don't know what you told the manager but I am sure one day in your life you will be in the same position as me . There you will understand. You told me the students have been reduce but is just me who have been taking out off the course. I never knew it you are sick, you can't go to college you will be taking out off the course . Now I will loose 1 year because of that.

It's baffling that South & City College Birmingham - Digbeth thinks it's acceptable to have such rude security staff at their reception. Maybe it's time the college invested in some basic manners and courtesy training for them, because clearly, they've missed those lessons on their own. It's about time the college stepped up, unless they think such unprofessional behaviour is acceptable.

Security staff at South & City College Birmingahm - Digbeth reception is extremly rude and behaves very ill mannerly.
College should encourage them to enrol in Basic manners and common courtesy classes for the sake of their own personal development.

The two women who thought it was hilarious to intentionally drive dangerously around Beckett's Farm carpark (27/3, approx. 11.30am) should have remembered that they were in a branded car and representing the college! Disgusting - especially during the school holidays with lots of young children around.

Studied here for a year, one of the worse colleges in Birmingham. The courses that they do are very low level, and the majority of tutors are inept, and terrible at teaching.

Furthermore the assignments are way too easy, and after a year of studying here and getting distinctions from each assignment I've truly benefitted nothing.

Also this college should be renamed South & City Special Needs College, because it's 100% not a normal college The amount of autistic, mentally disabled students is a lot!

Please do not send your children to study here unless they are autistic or have mental issues.

On a positive note this college is very safe and has no violence or gangs, however if you're expecting to get a qualification/degree in something important this college is not for you.

I had applied for courses supposed to start last January. Having no any news or feedback from them despite the starting date approaching, I tried to contact them BY ALL POSSIBLE MEANS ( face to face, phone calls, emails) and THEY NEVER REPLIED TO ME. I literally lost one year of my life because they let me hope to study in their college after being enrolled. Simply speechless from people supposed to work in the education sector and pretended to be civilised, in one of the most powerful countries in the world.
