Hidden gem!
Absolutely beautiful cathedral with an interesting history. The staff was welcoming, the little shop and café very cute. An absolute highlight: Hodge the cathedral cat.

Beautiful small garden with blooming cherry tree and herbal garden.

Free to enter, which is really nice in such an expensive city. Donation recommended though because it's worth supporting the community!

What a delightful surprise to stumble upon this magnificent cathedral by chance and to discover it was once Shakespeare’s own church made the experience even more special! The beautifully preserved gothic architecture is truly breathtaking, and it’s amazing to think of the centuries it has stood here. I highly recommend taking the time to visit. And if you’re lucky enough to catch the choir rehearsing, it’s an unforgettable bonus that adds so much charm to the moment!

A hugely impressive Cathedral that shouldn't be missed. Inside there is plenty of history stretching back to the medieval area. Entry to the Cathedral is free, with donations also accepted. There is a cathedral shop and cafe on site, too. You can get Cathedral Passport stamps in the shop.

What a fabulous event. Very well organised. The Cathedral looked beautiful with flowers and candles. The String Quartet were amazing. They introduced each piece, reminding us of the events happening when it was played in the series so we could picture the moments. Just a magical evening. Would definitely come to more from the Candlelight series.

Highly recommend this. The setting was beautiful. When the lights went off and only the candles were on and the music started it was just wonderful.
The musicians were amazing.
My friend and I have never done anything like this before but wouldn't hesitate to go again.

A real hidden ecclesiastical beauty crammed between the Thames and London Bridge station.

Built originally as a nunnery at a time when this part of London was largely open land, the church was latterly converted to a status of Cathedral.

It mirrors the wonderful uniqueness of English gothic architectural design with optimal use of light, space, and shadow to provide an incredible experience for the thousands who would've prayed there over the centuries.

Strong recommendation to see alongside it's more famous older brother St Paul's, but quieter, more intimate and spiritual
