Federico is an excellent tutor. He has been teaching me on a one to one basis for around six months and I am already gaining confidence in being able to speak Spanish. He has excellent knowledge of grammar and structures my learning effectively while ensuring that lessons are flexible and fun.
He is also understanding when I have to rearrange a lesson due to other commitments to enable me learn at my convenience and we have a mixture of online and in person lessons which is great for me.

Federico is a fantastic tutor. I started Spanish lessons with no prior formal knowledge or experience with the language (other than a short streak on Duolingo), and Federico has taken the time to learn and understand what I know, and allow me to learn new ideas and concepts at my own pace. He is easy-going and understanding, and lessons with Federico really feel like a safe space to learn without feeling fearful of making mistakes or getting things wrong. The lessons are engaging and well-rounded, and the homework provided is a good opportunity to apply and solidify what you have learned in the previous lesson, and Federico is always on hand to answer any questions outside of lessons.

I highly recommend Federico. My wife does speak spanish, but actually it is great to have a separate professional tutor where we can cover the full range of the language - day to day activities, films and literature, current affairs and sport etc. This is supplemented with studying vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and punctuation.
I have had weekly lessons for the last four years or so, and have improved a huge amount from a fairly basic level. It is an interesting mix of listening, reading, converation and (if I have time that week) writing a few paragraphs on a topic to read through together in the next class.
Federico is happy to adapt the classses to fit your own priorities. Go for it!

Looking to learn Spanish four years ago, I stumbled across Spanish Lessons In London. So glad I did…At our first class, Federico asked what I wanted to achieve from the classes. The aim was to speak, read and understand Spanish confidently (there was no other motivation, just a fifty-something wanting to learn a language and get more out of visits to Spain). These things I can do and having started with absolutely zero Spanish, nada in fact, I am incredibly pleased and proud at how far I have come thanks to Federico.

Not only is he an excellent tutor, he really takes on board that we all have busy lives and work schedules and accommodates that as much as possible. The classes are always relaxed, enjoyable and fun, just what I need after a day at work, and learning Spanish with Federico has been such a rewarding experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Federico as a Spanish tutor and I look forward to many more classes and improving my language skills.

You can really tell he is passionate about teaching and his classes are always interesting, well structured and have a lots of cultural insight.
