I really benefitted from his informal approach that made me feel at ease, but also he was able to judge when I was ready to extend my knowledge with some engaging and challenging exercises.

Our son’s Spanish at school was going well without any help until we received some reports where his grades were lacking and we realised we left this subject at ‘free-flow’ for too long. Rushing to rescue the situation we contacted Fernando based on recommendation from our friend. Immediately, Fernando started lessons, and within a matter of just a few months, our son’s results increased significantly up to 8! He will now start his GCSE year from September, and we are targeting 9! What I liked about Fernando’s approach most is that he keeps material relevant and also syncs up with any school assignments so learning is impactful to what they do at school. Any feedback from the teacher is picked up immediately. Also Fernando keeps the language conversations very engaging - it is not always easy to nudge a teenager to start conversing more independently, but Fernando achieved it. Very very happy customer!

Fernando is a special teacher. He teaches in a relaxed and easy manner always giving you the confidence to try. He is very patient.. He has many different ways of approaching the same thing so one is bound to work! He also has a great sense of humour. His technique is different from following a grammar book and involves far more conversation than most lessons which is excellent. It’s like being in Spain for an hour. He also has a wide range of baseball hats!

Fernando is an excellent tutor, during my first lesson my needs were assessed and the tutoring tailor made to suit, it is a stress free enjoyable experience ,i feel privileged to experience Fernando's one on one tutoring methods and now be able to hold a conversation in spanish, apart from hello goodbye i had almost zero knowledge of the spanish language. Along with additional advice and recommendations for home learning methods my ability and knowledge of the spanish language just accelerated . Fernando has also previously worked with my family and was responsible for my daughter excelling in her language exams.
