I took a 20-week course at SpeakUpLondon. At first, even saying a single sentence in English felt challenging, but now I feel much more comfortable and confident speaking. I studied with four different teachers, and each of them had their own unique style and passion, so I got to learn a variety of things—from grammar to local native expressions.

What I loved the most was meeting my classmates. I made such great memories with them, and I’m sure those moments will stay with me for a long time. Definitely make sure to join the social programs—they’re fantastic! The school’s location in Soho is perfect, as there are so many tourist spots nearby, and the social programs let you explore them with friends, making the most of your time in London.

If you ever have any questions or concerns, you can easily reach out to the reception or send an email. They’re always quick and kind with their responses, which made my time there really comfortable. Special thanks to Lucas and Jun at the front desk for their help!🩵

The best school I have ever been to! When you arrive at Speakup, the entire team does everything possible to help you with everything. I loved the classes; My teacher Mick is funny and a great professional. Mussa helped me formalizing the course super fast and very friendly; and Lucas…is the most charming receptionist in the world!. Eddie takes care of the social activities; he is very fun and charming too.

An amazing experience!

Speak Up London is an incredible school with a team fully dedicated to the comfort and progress of its students. Every week, a new topic is covered in class (for example, sports, business, history, etc.), which makes learning very varied and engaging. The 3-hour sessions include discussions, grammar, and listening activities, providing a perfect balance between theory and practice.

The school also offers a weekly program of activities, and on some weekends, there are trips to iconic places like Oxford or Cambridge. These moments are great not only to explore the country but also to build connections with students from all over the world.

What I really appreciated is the system of evaluations every three weeks. These assessments help track your progress and, if needed, move you to a higher level to ensure you learn at your own pace and according to your needs.

Another big plus is the support provided for accommodation. If needed, the team helps find a residence or housing for your stay, tailored to your preferences—such as location, private or shared kitchen, and more. This level of personalized care makes the experience much less stressful, especially if you’re new to the city. Knowing that everything is handled allows you to focus on your studies and enjoy your time in London with peace of mind.

Personally, I enjoyed my experience so much that I decided to extend my initial one-month stay to a full term (three months). The warm welcome from the team, especially Lucas, the Student Services & Accommodation Manager, made a huge difference. He is always available, ready to listen, and does his best to find solutions to help students feel comfortable — all with a big smile!

What I loved most is how Speak Up welcomes you with open arms, makes you feel at home, and helps you build unexpected but valuable friendships. Thank you for this wonderful experience! 🙂

It was a wonderful experience over the past two months. Additionally, I am very grateful to Mick and Lucas. They were exceptional supporters and provided endless support to help me adapt well in London. My confidence in English has significantly improved since I first arrived, and I have grown a lot. I enjoyed meeting friends from various countries, and the social programs were particularly great. The trip to Oxford and Cambridge with Lucas was truly fantastic. I hope we can meet again someday.

I came from Guinea for 5 months language immersion in London. I chose Speakup of London based on a friend’s recommandation. To be honest , it was an incredible experience.
All teachers, staff members and classmates were fantastics, particularly Lucas , Joon , kit , Mike and so one for their positive attitude and assistance.

I have studied this school for 6 months.
The best thing in school is Social Programme. It’s kind of activity programme like conversation club, movies, walking tour, oxford trip, pub night on every Friday. I met lots of amazing friends. I have improved english quite much. I started to study from Pre Intermediate. Now I study in Upper Intermediate. They have amazing teachers and student services team who have always smile. Eventually I’ve got my job in London. This school helped me to find my job. It was my best decision.
