So far so meh. Optometrist side of things was / is excellent but things went awry during the order process: I went in specifically requesting fixed-distance glasses for PC screen use, but ended up being talked into ordering occupational lenses; which turned out to be .. exactly what I didn't want - as the 'long' focal length is shorter than I requested, but also includes a close-up reading section at the bottom, thus reducing the area in-focus on my PC screens further. Back for another visit and wait and see how many trials and errors (and trips into town) it will take to get the glasses I need.

Absolutely amazing , friendly staff, Julia was brilliant, she found me some lovely frames and went through whole procedure, very clearly and made me feel so relaxed . Shannon was very friendly and effective doing my photo, s of my eyes , Zaynab guided me through my results amazingly and Sadie did my glasses handover with a beautiful smile . Having tried and failed with other high street brands in town, I was initially reluctant to book an appointment with Specsavers. However, it proved to be a great decision!
I visited the Uttoxeter branch three times to settle on my new contact lenses, and all the advisors and both opticians were knowledgeable, friendly professionals. I was explained every step of the process, got great advice and everything was done with a smile.
As an outsider, you can tell the team enjoy working together.
I felt looked after and my new lenses also worked out, I cannot recommend enough this branch! Thank you 🙂

From start to finish the Uttoxeter team are very professional. I have been a specsavers customer for over 20 years and at Uttoxeter for the last 5 years. All the staff are very helpful and understanding in all aspects and all parts of the process from the meet and greet to receiving new glasses or other queries. They are also very helpful and friendly on the telephone. I would recommend anyone in and around the Uttoxeter area to become a Specsavers customer.

The whole team are brilliant. Tests explained clearly, help to choose frames and select the right type of lens. I was advised but not pushed. Accommodating with appointment times where possible. I would highly recommend Zaynab for sight tests and Jana for fittings.

I just think the whole set up is clear and clever. Maybe we ought to congratulate them on the sustainable and renewable use of felt in their glasses cases. Smart move, demonstrates care for our environment.
