A spectacular church, I have walked passed for over two decades. I enjoy the yearly procession but never visited. When I did, wow!.
I was interrupted as it was time to close, which presented the opportunity to ask questions and I am glad I did.
The Clerkenwell area was known as "little Italy" as around 2,000 Italians had settled in the area in the 1850s.

I was intrigued for more visit https://www.italianchurch.org.uk

I took a few pictures to share but the memory is forever etched on my memory.

A Miracle Sacred Place of Hope – The Italian Catholic Church

The Italian Catholic Church is not just a place of worship—it is a miracle sacred place where hearts find peace, souls are uplifted, and hope is renewed in Christ.

During the most difficult times of my life, this church became my sanctuary of faith and healing. The moment I stepped inside, I felt a deep sense of divine presence, comfort, and peace that words cannot fully describe. The prayers, the sacred atmosphere, and the warmth of the community made me feel closer to God than ever before.

I am an Italian living in the UK for many years now..
I have been there today as a filmmaker for a beautiful wedding.
I can't wait to come back when i will be free.
I usually don't go to church often but here I felt so welcome from the first minute i was inside and really felt like I belong to a crazy good community. Now I can't wait to go back, hopefully soon, as unfortunately I live a bit far away..
Just want to say, Thanks for everything!!
Best regards.

Lovely church in a beautiful part of London, near Sicilian Avenue in Bloomsbury. Mass is usually in Italian, but sometimes also in English. Nearby you can find also a sweet little cafeteria.
