I have enjoyed my eighteen months or so learning Spanish at Bedford Language Centre. The classes are online and in small groups, and Elena makes them fun and is happy to explain points that you don’t understand. There are also follow-up activities to work on.

They also organise social events so you get to meet other people and to practice speaking Spanish. And they organise trips to Spain too so that you can experience the country and try speaking with locals. I certainly enjoyed the trip that I did.

Really great! The Zoom lessons are engaging with a combination of Spanish and Spanish culture - our teacher Elena is very enthusiastic and motivating. Highly recommended.

Came to the Sevillanas (Flamenco) lessons. A bit nervous as I did not know any of the students when I arrived. No need to worry. What a welcoming group. Instantly part of the group and went on to dance the night away. The lessons were mostly in English with a few Spanish words and counting. Very achievable and fun. The dance was broken down into easy steps and everyone had a great time. The teachers were very welcoming and it was a very low-pressure environment. Excellent fun and looking forward to my next visit to Spain to show off my skills.

Learning Spanish with Elena for one year with group classes. She's a great teacher and the classes are very topical and interesting rather than typical linear courses.

Joined a trip to Los Patios in Puerto de Santa Maria in April 2024; had am amazing time with some fantastic and authentic experiences which would be difficult to create as a tourist on your own. Very well organised and Elena couldn't be more helpful and accommodating.

Improvers online Spanish classes are brilliant with Elena. She is patient and extremely knowledgeable, not just about the language, but about the culture too. The lessons are easy to follow, challenging and encouraging. A few weeks in and my confidence is growing. Highly recommend.

I’ve really enjoyed Monday Spanish classes with Elena and her ‘poco a poco’ relaxed and informative approach. In addition to improving my understanding of the language I’ve learned a lot more about Spain and its culture particularly Madrid and northern Spain which Elena obviously knows well. Getting to know the others in the group over coffee has been great fun even if we don’t do a lot of Spanish.

After a 50 year gap I started to learn Spanish again with Bedfordshire Language Centre in September 2021. I thought I would struggle but Elena, our teacher, has been very supportive and makes the lessons very enjoyable. The group size is small so there is a lot of active participation. The lessons are mainly oral but there is homework, which can be challenging, but it helps prepare for the next lesson. Lots of lively materials are provided. Highly recommended.
