I've just completed the beginner's course and I would highly recommend it! We learnt a wide range of techniques and lesson time flew by every week. Pippa is very knowledgeable, friendly and patient and under her instruction I made a ring and a pair of earrings which I'm really pleased with. I'm really looking forward to attending the improver's course next.

I have done two courses now with Pippa- first her silver ring course and secondly I have just completed her Xmas copper decoration course.
The studio is an amazing space in the centre of the jewellery quarter and Pippa herself is so so lovely, helpful and informative...plus she has her little puppy running around which of course is a bonus. I would highly recommend this course for anyone who is looking to get into jewellery making or just anyone who wants to try something different for an afternoon or a few weekends. You meet great people, the tea and chat flows and at the end of it you get to keep whatever creation you have made.

I attended Pippa’s taster course yesterday. It was the first time I had ever done anything like this and would thoroughly recommend it. Pippa was very informative and extremely helpful when I got a bit stuck. It was thoroughly enjoyable and I managed to produce a decent pair of earrings by the end of the day. I cannot recommend more highly, and am already counting the days until September, when I hope to undertake a longer course. There was also something quite magical about it being based in the heart of the Jewelery Quarter.

The beginners course was well worth it! Pippa gave wonderful instructions, and I never felt rushed or stressed. I'm also very pleased with the ring I managed to make, I was not expecting my shakey hands to be able to cope with doing such small details, but Pippa really helped make it so much easier!

Pippa is a professional jeweller and gifted teacher, aware of the problems beginners might have.

The project is broken down into simple steps which she demonstrates and, no messing around, she showed us how professional jewellers work. She gave us tiny hints from her experience that make a huge difference! She checked that everyone (small class sizes) was able to manage each technique, giving advice and helping where required. She also made her own piece at the same time, so we could see how it should be made, and so each step was given appropriate time.

The finished piece is something to be proud of, even if, in my case, I was a bit shaky on some techniques!

The studio is pleasant and the tools new and of good quality. Pippa is very friendly and easy to approach, (and her dog is lovely)!

I can't praise this course enough.

Just done the beginners’ course and absolutely loved it! My first attempt at jewellery making and I’ve made a sterling silver ring and earrings that look very professional! If you’re looking for a new hobby, give this a go! Pippa is a great teacher, the studio is absolutely beautiful and the classes are fun and relaxed.
