DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL! Genuinely the most shockingly poor school I have ever reviewed. The lack of good teaching (if any - many of the teachers are supply and do not provide any support) influenced my whole GCSE experience - both grades and wellbeing wise. Even the teachers were unhappy here - such a turnover of staff as none of them wanted to be there. Shocking.

The Academy is currently having a Completely new re build, With a clean modern look. The project is said to complete in August 2017 and should have fantastic facilities throughout.

Just left after 5 years of hell, school provided little in the way of safe guarding aside from 1 member of staff i only had the pleasure of meeting in my final year. We had many supply teachers since covid and many staffing issues which have impacted year 11 (2023 and 2022) GCSE outcomes. if you care about your children and their well being dont send them to this shambels of a school! glad to see the back of it.

I want to say I am extremely impressed with the options evening this evening, it made me feel so happy and proud to have my children at that school. So much knowledge and time devoted to this tonight, so a massive thank you to all the staff at the ongar academy, if all schools were as incredible as the academy we would have a bright future, all members of staff we more than helpful and very very professional, also my children have learnt to enjoy learning now purely due to the great attitude and support they recieve now they are at TOA, So thank you once again for making a real difference, let's just hope other children in other schools have the support and dedication that the team at TOA provideour children, thanks guys, your all very professional and amazing
