Lindsey is an amazing accent coach. I completed a few week accent course with her, and I continue to work with her regularly whenever I need to prepare a script with a certain accent in mind. I was provided with lots of material and tools, so I can practice on my own.
The lessons are affordable and Lindsey is doing her best to accommodate to her students schedule.
I can recommend the voice cafe to actors and people who want to work on their accents, pronunciation and projection!

I contacted Lindsey in June 2021 as I wanted to soften my accent, and I have to say, it was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Lindsey is an exceptional educator and elocution coach. Prior to working with Lindsey, I had some lessons with other tutors, but they left me rather confused and with little practical result. During our first lesson, Lindsey gave me a very valuable advise on the target accent, set a clear goal and a path to achieve it. It worked perfectly for me, because each lesson was tailored to my specific needs and environment. Lindsey’s knowledge of other languages and accents is amazing, she was always able to explain clearly the phonetic differences between RP, target accent and my native language, and that was a game changer for me. She is also an extremely patient and encouraging teacher – goodness knows, it took me a while to get some things right, I had 20 years of “bad habits” to change! I would highly recommend Lindsey’s tuition and/or The Voice Café’s website to those who wants to improve their accent and deepen their understanding of language/phonetics.

I've been a student since a recommendation from a Toastmaster mentor many many years ago. I started as an in-person student, then switched to online lessons after I moved continents. I'm very happy with the impact of these lessons have had in my social life, work, and hobbies (public speaking and amateur acting).
Lindsey is patient, professional, empathetic, and just knows the right exercises in order to improve whatever weaknesses we decide to work on. It is obvious that she puts a lot of effort in the preparation of the lessons. I can't recommend Linsdsey enough when it comes to voice coaching.

Lindsey is honestly the best accent tutor you can ask for! She is patient, her method is clear and you will notice results very soon. She has a huge knowledge on different accents. If you want to improve how you sound in English, it would be hard to find a better coach than Lindsey. I’ve tried several coaches before finding Lindsey. She can give you precise, detailed assessments and prescribe targeted practices for adjustments, which really work. Unless you know what it is you are doing or not doing, it’s hard to change anything, it goes without saying. Other coaches i’ve experienced tend to throw general practices. Plus, she really loves what she does, which manifests as a real added benefit for the students. Highly recommend!

Lindsey is a wonderful teacher to perfect your accent and prononciation. I’ve been taking courses with her for years now to work on the right rhythm and intonations for my songs and she’s been the best support I could wish for. Doing it via zoom adds so much flexibility, we can have a session all around the world and still be connected, which is quite important for a travelling artist. Plus, Lindsey is understanding, supportive, and she always adapts her schedule to your needs. I sometimes change the frequency of our meetings according to my gigs or studio sessions but I don’t intend to quit, especially as it is a pleasure to have these meetings with Lindsey and as she is the best placed to identify my challenges.
