I was there yesterday afternoon and I have my topics ready, but in my mind I had them as an exhibition. I was stressed e lot of stress but it was so easy like talking to a friend. They were all excellent and ready to help.

Yesterday at my GESE exam, I arrived at the scheduled time (14:30) and was told to wait for a moment per everyone inside to finish. A staff member, Val, then abruptly told me, “Outside please,” by indicating in with her hand the exit door without any explanation. Her tone was blunt, which confused and distressed me, especially as I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. I left the building feeling like I was being kicked out and started crying.

When I later re-entered with the support of others, Val still showed no empathy, even as I explained that I suffer from anxiety and If she could please be polite when talking and asked for clarity while I’m crying my eyes out. Instead, she ignored my distress, continued the check-in process by just looking at the paper the whole time (while I’m still crying) and dismissed my request for a moment to compose myself. Even the security staff seemed shocked by how I was treated.
basic kindness or even just saying “could you please wait outside because you’re not allowed to wait here” would have prevented this. While the rest of the staff were lovely and supportive, I hope this issue is addressed so that no one else especially those with disabilities has to go through the same distressing experience.

Very lovely and polite staff. I would advice anyone going for this test to go here. Very clean environment and caring and professional staff. Before attending I was contacted up to three times to make sure I was ready and document ready. They ensured I was well prepared. A big thank you to the team for treating everyone with respect.

I have attended my exam in Birmingham. They have a very good logistics. The venue is comfortable and bright. The staff is very kind. The most important thing, they have useful materials and guides on their website, which helps you to prepare properly for your exam.

I went there today The lady outside helped me get inside I was 1 and Half hour early she was very cooperative very helpful and the staff inside were helpful very nice. I had some details changed on my card they did it right there and then I am so happy very helpful people..

The place itself is ok. However the customer service and courtesy could be drastically improved. I accompanied my wife purely up to the reception and made sure she could check in. I intended to stay in the cafe. It was 0 degrees outside and the woman that checked us in abruptly told me “you can’t stay go wait outside” like it was unnecessarily rude. I asked about the cafe which it turned out was closed.

In respect of the testing centre, my wife shared that they were not very attentive, she had to remind them about the time of her test almost passing and also remind them to provide a locker key when leaving her belongings. Small, simple things but they go a long way.

For reference there is a pub around the corner of Lionel street. There is NO PARKING on site. The paradise car park across the road is closed to the public during week days. You can try your luck on Lionel street. We were there between 2-3pm and there were two parking spots with a traffic warden checking regularly so be careful about getting a ticket. You can pay using the RingGo app. You should be ok to book an hour.

With all the road closures in and around the area though I would recommend going to a different centre tbh.
