I did a masters course (Computer Science) here in the 16/17 academic year. I did pass, with 'merit' in fact, but found the course to be poorly thought out, poorly organised, and poorly taught. I made my decision to go here and do this course based largely on the fact that BU has had a historically good reputation. Based on this I thought that the course would be good, and if they accepted me onto it, suitable for someone of my work/academic background - it wasn't! I would urge anyone thinking of going here to exercise caution. During the year I was there, their vice chancellor got paid well over £400,000.00. I believe BU are making the huge profits to pay these kinds of huge salaries by selling poor quality courses, and selling those poor quality courses to students whose work / academic backgrounds are not suitable for the course.
