This group is absolutely fabulous - ran by not just absolute professionals but also the nicest people you could wish to meet. My son has so much fun here and has made some amazing friends, but just as Importantly his personal growth and confidence has come on leaps and bounds. There are opportunities for professional work as well as their own projects and from a parents point of view worth every penny (which is also very good value for money compared to other alternatives). Highly recommend Urban young actors - you and your young ones will not regret getting involved.

UYA is the best extracurricular I have ever taken - I met the most fabulous people and had some amazing experiences.

I cannot recommend this group enough whether or not you want to get into acting. If that is a potential career path, UYAgency opens you up to so many contacts, but even if you don't, it's just so fun.

I cannot recommend Urban enough. This group has supported me for 7 years now and I cannot emphasise how fantastic they are. Every single member is given the unique support they need to grow their confidence as an individual and a performer which truly does create the most incredible family. I have made friendships for life at Urban and will cherish my memories from it. The experience I have gained from Urban has also allowed me to start perusing a career in the acting industry and I could not be where I am now without them. Urban has been such an amazing opportunity for me. I was apart of this group for 5 years and not only did it shape me as an actor, it also shaped me as a person. Urban is like a family and always supports you in all you do. They have offered so many acting opportunities in both film and stage and have helped build my confidence so much. Urban young actors is the most welcoming and supportive environment for upcoming actors. I can’t recommend urban enough to anyone. They are so inclusive and friendly and have helped my confidence and ability immensely. I was only at urban for a couple months due to leaving to go to uni and within those months I grew not only as an artist but as a person. This is the perfect place to go for acting and for confidence and socialising while working on your performance side.

Urban Young Actors is a safe space for people to come and explore acting in many different forms. You build friendships for life and the sessions are always light hearted, fun and leaves you laughing til everything hurts. I really enjoyed my time at Urban and I appreciate the opportunities it has given me and for bringing out my confidence more than anything else has.
The tutors at Urban don’t stop until they think you’ve done your best which only makes you a better actor and a better version of yourself. They work so hard and put so much effort into their projects for the sake of their members. They see potential in every single person and they make sure everyone is included and is involved so they get the best out of their experience.

I joined Urban in 2021 and loved every minute spent there. The staff and the members at Urban are very friendly and I felt welcomed instantly. Kieran and Katie are amazing coaches who are very understanding, considerate and professional. I had never been a part of a drama group before and they helped me grow so much during my year and a half there. They also put forward many opportunities which allowed me to gain more confidence and improve on my acting skills.

I made many friendships and memories during my time spent here, and I always had a good laugh both with the members and the staff. I had also made professional links in the industry, and was a part of a few projects such as an on screen film and a theatrical production.

I would highly recommend Urban Young Actors whether you are a new actor or have more experience. It is such an amazing diverse community that welcomes all and is truly a place for everyone.
