We chose a very busy race day to attend as included Midland grand national. Arrived early as we used train service and this train in particular was packed and arrived 1 hour 50min before the first race. There was limited seats at this point and this was same throughout the day.
We watched the racing from the railway stand and managed to get a spot in there each time. This was less packed and allowed good viewing of the course. There are plenty of food options and they have plenty of beer and cider self serve vending machines which helped reduce amount of people at the indoor bar. Good service overall and great racing. Would revisit but for a quieter meeting.

Went here New Years Eve 2024. First time I've been and absolutely loved it. Incredibly busy, but still able to get a drink and some food. Normal prices you'd expect for a special day. I wouldn't bother with the Premier tickets next time, we spent most of our time elsewhere. Really enjoyed the day and would definitely return.

I recently attended on a Wednesday as a guest in the hospitality section. Fixing point and AIR cladding supplies sponsored one of the races. The food was very good, buffet style lunch and they had bacon baps and coffee/teas at breakfast.
The bar was rather small inside the hospitality room so drinks were limited.
We got to choose the best dressed horse and enter the private viewing area to watch the race that we sponsored. That was a great experience.
Overall, we all enjoyed the day. I would just say some areas are in need of restoration, for example the toilets aren’t great. I even heard a staff member complaining the same loo always gets blocked!

We went on Ladys day in January. Plenty of parking. Great atmosphere. Not very child friendly, but who cares! Really fun to see the horses up close. The hospitality staff were fantastic.

Staff were professional, friendly & helpful. Good security staff & police with sniffer dogs to prevent drugs being taken into the event. Plenty of parking. Very disappointed with the Premier Area needs refurbishment, tarmac/concrete floor needs removing & grass laid like other racecourses we've attended. The grandstand in the area was a complete disgrace very dirty, we were first in & there was squashed food & cigarette ends left there from the last event. We were expected to sit on this mess in our beautiful dresses & had to as there was nowhere else to sit! The only advantage was that we were directly in front of the finishing line. Good atmosphere for the horse racing. Toilets also need refurbishing & hand dryers repairing, but were very clean. Unfortunately after only the first race the ladies toilets looked like a tornado had ripped through them what a mess due to the clientell. Far too much flesh on display, women ignorant & selfish. Very few ladies attended. Food & drink was good & plenty of choice, but as everywhere else over priced. Roman Kemp offered a good gig for the youngsters, too much noise for us senior citizens. Would return for general racing or concert that suited our taste.
