I've been attending the Introduction to Kiln Formed Glass short course for Adults, and it's been excellent. I've already signed up for the next level course and fully expect I'll want to do the advanced course after that. Our teacher, Hugh, is both knowledgeable and laid back, just what you want from a leisure course.
The Winsford campus is small and wonderfully quiet, and as a person with accessibility needs (I have M.E./CFS and am on the autism spectrum) I can honestly say that the interactions I've had with staff regarding information gathering and health & safety has been both thorough and sensitively handled. It's a very supportive and positive environment.

We are hosting a Ukrainian family at present and looked for a venue teaching English as an additional language.
This college provides a one day a week ESOL course on which our adult guest enrolled.
Apart from an issue with sickness absence by the tutor, our guest is getting a lot from the course and is enjoying the experience. There are several other students on the course from different countries (but no other Ukrainians) so the course is truely international!
One reason we chose this course was for consistency of time and venue - our guest had attended other courses organised by the Council but found dates and venues changed often at short notice making it almost impossible to organise work committments around the sessions.
The course here provides fixed days and times delivering a nationally recognised qualification.
