Terrible pastoral care. Academics are good but nothing else in my opinion. I would think very carefully before subjecting a child to this school.

Two grandchildren went there and had great experiences of learning, studying, boarding and becoming adults.

From a parent’s point of view, I will never be able to thank ALL the staff of Wymondham College enough.

My child is now coming to the end of yr 9.

Since starting secondary, we’ve discovered a lot of issues including ASD which have required quite a lot of help. Everyone from pastoral care to SEN, office, attendance staff, teachers etc have absolutely bent over backwards to try different scenarios and tactics to help and make things work for my child. They all truly care.

If you need help, ask…. We are making massive progress and I’ll be indebted to these people forever for all their efforts to get us this far.

This school is truly terrible. I was a student here from 2012 to 2017 and my experience was dismal. The support facilities are appalling. I once informed the head master at the time of my failing mental wellbeing and nothing came of it, he just sent me to class. The food was atrocious, we were often served plain pasta which tended to be undercooked. Most of the teachers would almost bully other students and got off on humiliating students who were struggling. I only knew a few teachers who were genuinely nice people such as Ms Williams and Mr Henderson. In almost all of my subjects, the teacher would only give attention to those succeeding and then punished those who were struggling for not completing work or it being of low quality. This school failed me and many others in my year as well as the year before me. They do not deserve the good ratings they receive, everything is a front to make them look good.

This collage has 1 of the biggest boarding house in UK and it is quite good.
As for the collage the facilities they are OK and not that outdated, they do have a full size swimming pool but no school team, and they don't use it that much.
Most teachers are very helpful and nice and some are not.
The collage is improving on their marks every year and the 6 form is OK too.

My two sons have gone through Wymondham College all the way.

They still have a year or so to go but we are delighted that we chose Wymondham College. Whatever the final outcome it is down to my boys to do the best they can. Wymondham College is a great school and offers so much for students that choose to make the most of it.

This school is excellent education wise but everything other than the education is bad, for example, i was a bystander in a situation that happened and now i don’t have the privileges to enjoy myself at other houses

This school sorted me right out! Started in 1997. I want to visit soon as i loved it. The sports, especially the rugby!! It was an amazing place!
