Lovely airfield and extremely helpful staff. I've flown a couple of times from Chatteris on their flying start package and highly recommend.

Both flights were with Adrian who is a fantastic flight instructor. Enjoyed every minute of my tuition and look forward to qualifying.

Great flying school. I went from first lesson to my NPPL with the Chief Flying Instructor Katie.
Katie worked hard to accommodate my availability to make the most of the good weather.

The flying school is welcoming and it didn't feel like you were on the clock with lessons, ground work and knowledge is complemented by Pat who when he isn't out judging your or the chief flying instructors landings! is usually found putting the kettle on for your return.
I would happily recommend the school and have since bought a share of a microlight at the airfield.

I had my first set of flying lessons yesterday at Cambridge Microlight and it was an exceptional experience! My flight instructor, Adrian, was very patient and very skilled, and taught is a very relaxed environment with a lot of attention to detail. I learned to fly with the flying school over 2 years as I was abroad for a large portion of it. If you're around and not too busy in the week, you can go from zero to NPPL in a few months. I'd recommend the school, they're a friendly bunch and will always offer a hand with the aircraft or training if you need any help!

I had a 1hr learning to fly experience with Cambridgeshire Microlights. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel really welcome. Before the lesson I was able to chat with some of the private owners all of which were very friendly and welcoming.

My instructor was very knowledgeable tailoring his delivery to my experience. No messing around with getting in the air, after a safety briefing and run down of the equipment we were soon in the air and the controls handed over. During the lesson I was instructed through the basic controls. I flew right through to the approach.

I really enjoyed the experience and will be booking lessons in the near future.

I found Cambridgeshire Microlights after searching for local airfields near me with the hopes of beginning my journey to obtain my NPPL licence (or at least give it a good go).

After a conversation with the CFI Katie, I agreed to have a trial flight and haven't stopped flying since.

I've had the privilege of flying with both Adrian and Katie. Both offer upmost professionalism and have a teaching style which just seems to work really well for me and I'm sure it will also for many others if not everyone who's interested in learning to fly.

The training aircraft for students is kept in very good condition and is cleaner than most cars on UK roads and is also an extremely stable aircraft to fly.

The airfield is very well maintained by Pat who works extremely hard to ensure that the standards of the club are upheld and the airfield is tidy, safe and clean.

If you're considering learning to fly, I'd recommend at least a trial flight. It's inexpensive compared to other General Aviation flying however I'd argue that it's twice as fun!

Absolutely fantastic trial flight! Very welcoming staff and a very friendly and helpful instructor Adrian! A great introduction and has really made me want to learn to fly!
