I applied to the University of Gloucestershire on 18th October and received a conditional offer letter. I worked hard to fulfill all the requirements, including submitting a mature bank statement and preparing the full fee. However, I was informed at the last moment that due to a high number of applicants, my application could not be processed for the current intake, and it has been deferred to the next one.

While I understand the challenges universities face with managing high volumes of applications, I feel disappointed as this has caused a potential delay in my academic progress and might affect my career plans. I would suggest the university improve its communication process and provide timely updates so that students can plan accordingly.

Thank you.

I have the worst Experience with this school.
I got Admission in Mid Nov and paid the Tuition Deposit fee in Early December way before the Deadline yet the school failed to issue me a CAS Certificate for Visa application. They later informed me that I should defer my admission to the Next intake because they had unprecedented number of applications and this was very disappointing.

The overall communication between them and prospective students is very poor. They do not respond to Emails. I feel very disappointed.
I hope they will respond to aleast defer me or refund me my money.

I am currently in second year, and I have the most incredible experience here. The facilities are really good, and all of the lecturers and other teaching staff are super friendly, and really care about their students. For my course, the university maintains a close relationship with local business in the industry, which is really important for future job prospects. They really value their students and the contributions that they make to the wider university.

I would highly recommend this university.

Didn't really work out for me as a neurodivergent person; classes were often noisy and understaffed.

However I do find the area of The Park to be a nice place to study and societies were enjoyable.

Not recommend for international students to study here. The admission team, regional rep didn’t answer my enquiry. When I emailed them their reply was refer to the link. I don’t understand what is written on the link and saw ur email there. What’s the point u reply me to refer back the link? No airport pickup service for international student. You have to figure it out on your own. Pity if you are travelling alone. They asked for bank statement at the early stage on cas shield but don’t even provide the availability of room left for student hall on their website.

University of Gloucestershire is located in England. It is a state university. You can study many areas of higher education levels such as MSc, MBA, DBA and PhD programs. Lecture panel is good and recommend everyone to have their higher studies.

What fabulous grounds. As a local resident you can walk (with no dogs) in the grounds, which have a pond and lots of wildlife as well as a wide variety of trees as it used to be an arboretum. You might still be able to collect a tree map from reception.
